Okay, let’s just keep track of my daily habits:

Daily Habits

Studying Flashcards with Anki Every Day

  • 200 Korean-Japanese vocabulary flashcards (100 forward and 100 reverse flashcards; plus reviews)
    • I didn’t manage to study any today.
    • I usually study these when I go for a walk, but I was really lazy today and didn’t go for my daily walk
    • To be honest, I wasted a lot of time watching YouTube videos, and I definitely could have finished this daily habit
  • 100 New Kanji to Keyword flashcards (plus reviews)
    • I actually started over from square one and finished studying 400 Kanji
  • 100 New Keyword to Kanji flashcards (plus reviews)
    • I didn’t do these today either
    • I should probably incorporate these into my daily walk habit too, since it doesn’t require any writing

Creating Data / Research

  • 100 Japanese words a day – Rewrite Japanese words in Pahanngana
    • My Japanese vocabulary spreadsheets are a total mess
    • I need to just get 5 good spreadsheets and forget the rest
      • JLPT 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 spreadsheets
    • I have too many copies, failed experiments, and junk spreadsheets, and I need to get rd of the junk
    • Once I get 5 good spreadsheets, I can both analyze vocabulary and make flashcards quickly and easily
  • 100 Kanji a day – Deconstructing Kanji / Rewriting Kanji Pieces a la Remembering the Kanji
      • 100 Kanji a day – Auditing my 3000 Kanji sound group research
    • I did about 43 Kanji today
    • This is not an incredibly important daily habit for my MEXT scholarship goal
    • However, it is important for writing my SImple Kanji books
  • 10 Kanji sound group analyses (like my published data before)
    • I didn’t do any today
    • I wonder if I should complete my audit first before I get back to this task
    • However, this task is essential to completing my MEXT scholarship: Portfolio goal
    • So I think I should keep the “Deconstructing Kanji” goal high, maybe 100 Kanji a day
