Okay, I’m almost done sorting out the JLPT vocab and I should be able to finish sorting all of them by the end of tomrorow.

Then I can get to work on rewriting the vocab and publishing pages.

I’m going to have to figure out a template to use to publish my vocabulary words, 

I think I have a template somewhere saved in one of my files, so I’ll have to check that out and see if it works.

Slow and steady, slow and steady. I just want everything to be done, but I have to take things one step at a time and just make progress every day.

All right, I managed to to sort a lot of JLPT 3 Vocab today.

I think after I finish sorting the JLPT 3 vocab, I’ll just go straight to rewriting words from Japanese to Pahanngana/Hangul.

By the time I’ve finished JLPT 5, 4, and 3, I will have sorted 3899 vocabulary words.

But JLPT 2 would require me to sort 2648 more vocabulary. 

That would take a lot of time to sort, maybe a couple more weeks. 

So I think that my time will be better spent analyzing words and publishing pages t oget my research out there.

So I’ll try to finish the JLPT vocab as soon as possible, possibly this week.

I worked on auditing Kanji today, but I think I’ll go back to working on sorting Japanese vocabulary tomorrow since it is more time, energy, and focus intensive and I have a lot of time.

I’ll save the Kanji auditing for when I can multitask and work on several things at once because it’s not too hard for me to sort Kanji at the same time. 

I want to get the vocab sorted as fast as possible, because then I can start publishing pages on each vocabulary word and make guesses about how to spell each word in Pahanngana/Hangul. Let’s go!

All right, I’m finally back home.

My golly it feels so good to be back.

I got things set up and I got time to do stuff.

I’ve been away from home for several months and I’ve been living out of a suitcase.

Well, to be more precise, one large piece of luggage, one backpack, and one personal item.

Now that I’ve come back home, I’ve realized yet again how much junk I have back home.

All this stuff that’s just accumulated and I haven’t thrown away.

So how does this tie in to the Pahanngana project? 

Well If I waste my time, energy, and focus on unnecessary junk, the less time I will have for actually research, analyzing data, writing, and publishing stuff.

So I need to get rid of much stuff as possible, simplify things as much as possible, and make sure that as much of my energy and focus is spent on important things as possible.

All right, it’s time to go! I’ve left the place I was staying at for the past couple months and now I’m off!

Well, I’m not quite out of the woods just yet, I still have a couple of hoops to jump through before I reach my final destination.

Well, in the meantime, I’ll use my time to analyze more Kanji and work on my Kanji Audit spreadsheet. 

I gotta say, Heisig did a great job with his Remembering the Kanji books, especially with assigning keywords to the “primitive elements “of Kanji, but I really do wonder why he didn’t assign keyword to “sound signals” of Kanji.

Well, many of the keywords he assigned do apply to “sound signals”, but there are still many gaps, which I have decided to fill in.

Wow, even though I didn’t plan to, but I managed to finish sorting a big group of Kanji. 

I’m really excited to be making all this progress.

It’s kind of funny,  because I feel like I love using spreadsheets. They’re so much fun!

They bring order to chaos, and you can really put together pieces easily and they make patterns more visible and easier to see.

Maybe I should have organized all of the Kanji this way before I started publishing pages, since I’ll probably have to edit and republish all of the previous pages.
